For companies and HR

A food benefit you can switch on, switch off and account for.

You decide exactly who is covered, set the limits, and see how it is used and what your people save. Every meal is verified at the till, and Mukhtar never holds anyone's money.

Who is covered

Start from your roster, not from whoever has a work email.

Upload your staff list. You see a preview of what will change before it is applied, and any rows that need fixing come back in a file you can download, correct and upload again.

  • A preview first. Nothing is applied until you have seen it.
  • An error file. The rows that need fixing, ready to download.
  • Your list decides. Only the people on your roster are covered.
When someone leaves

Switch them off. They are signed out everywhere.

When someone leaves, HR switches them off the same day. They are signed out everywhere, and the activity log keeps the record.

Daily and monthly limits

You set the limits on the benefit, for each day and for each month.

Usage and savings

See how the benefit is being used and what your people have saved.

For your people

A short-lived code, and the discount on the receipt.

Employees open a code on their phone and show it at the till. The cashier scans it and types the bill, the discount is applied, and they pay the restaurant directly.

Each restaurant's discount is agreed with that restaurant before it goes live.

Questions HR asks

Before you book the conversation.

Who pays the restaurant?

The employee, directly, at the till. Mukhtar never holds anyone's money.

How does Mukhtar make its money?

Restaurants pay Mukhtar a commission on each verified bill, agreed with each restaurant in writing. They are invoiced weekly, with a statement that lists every redemption.

What do you keep about our staff?

No CNIC or phone number is ever in the code an employee shows at the till, and identity data is stored hashed.

How do HR staff sign in?

At portal.mukhtar.com.pk, with an email address and a six-digit code. There is no password.

Which restaurants take part?

The pilot runs with a handful of restaurants in Gulberg, Lahore.

Is it only food?

Food is the first category. More will follow, and we will say so when they are ready, not before.

Next step
